FORMALITY CHART

Trước khi trình bày 5 cách nói nghi thức chính trong tiếng Hàn, cho mình lưu ý phát âm của từ formality /fɔːˈmæl.ə.ti/ không lại phát âm nhầm trọng âm nhá ^^
* There are 5 major formality levels:
1. 하십니다 : ice breakers, talking about other people (THEM) (NEVER about yourself).
2. 합니다 : ice breakers, talking about yourself or general descriptions
3. 하세요 : when u know someone, talking about THEM (NEVER about yourself)
4. 해요 : when u know someone, talking about yourself or general descriptions
5. 해, 한다, 하다 : with younger people, with friends, family
* 요 added to an object when it stands alone to make it formal.
