Double vowels

 - 개미 : ant
 - 새우 : shrimp
 - 배 : pear
2. 에 :
 - 학교에 가다
 - 책상위에있다.
3. 얘 :
 - 얘기 : talk
 - 하얘요 : white
4. 예 :
 - 예뻐요 : pretty; good-looking
 - 예술 : art
☺Note: The vowel 예 pronounced differently depending on these cases.
* The 1st case: 예 [예] when combined with the consonant like ㅇ.
- 예술 [예술];    - 예뻐요 [예뻐요].
* The 2nd case: 예 [에] when combined with the consonants like ㄱ, ㅎ.
- 시계 [시게];    - 은혜 [은헤].

 - 기와 : tile
 - 사과 : apple

6. 왜 :
 - 왜 : why
 - 괜찮아요. : It's all right.

* The 1st case: 의 [의] when it is combined with the consonant ㅇ; or is the 1st syllable of a word.

* The 2nd case: 의 [이] when it is combined with the consonant other than ㅇ such as ㅎ or ㄴ. Or 의 stands after the 1st letter in a word.
- 희망 [히망]          - 무늬 [무니]
- 회의 [회이]          - 강의 [강이]
* The 3rd case: 의 [에] when it functions the possessive particle.
- 어머니의 구두 [어머니에 구두] : mother's shoes
- 수영의 친구 [수영에 친구] : Suyoung's friend
